Day-by-Day Itinerary
Depart from Kampala or Entebbe, driving through dense jungles and papyrus wetlands. Enjoy lunch en route to Kibale National Park, near the Ruwenzori Mountains. In the afternoon, embark on a guided walk in the national park, exploring the crater lakes area and experiencing local culture. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Wake up for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park, home to an impressive 500 chimpanzees. Receive a briefing before heading into the forest, where guides will share insights on chimpanzees, other primates, and local flora and fauna. In the afternoon, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to endangered African Mountain Gorillas. Relax, have dinner, and overnight at your hotel.

After an early breakfast, meet with Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) rangers for your African Mountain Gorilla Trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This once-in-a-lifetime encounter involves tracking gorillas through the bush, which can take up to 6 hours. After the trek, enjoy lunch in the forest, followed by rest or bird watching. Return to your lodge to relax and recuperate.
